It's not black and white- it's OFF-white!

Everyone thought I was wearing black and white....it's off-white, though. I had a different top planned out for this outfit, but it wasn't comfortable, SO, I ended up choosing another OFF-white, lace shirt- a tee. I still wore it with the rest of the outfit I had planned out: a cream-colored lace headband, and cream and gold bangles. I wore gold and pearl stick earrings to match one of the bangles, which is also pearl. And, it wouldn't be a signature Heather-look without (additional) rose earrings to go with the lace. Because it's in-between seasons, I wore ankle pants and black heels, which I love together. For makeup: cream and black eyeshadows and a fall lip color.

Spirited Away

We had a team cookout at work, so I wore black and white again, to show some spirit. I wore this black and white halter that was recently given to me in a hand-me-down bag. With it, I wore a black pencil skirt, a black cardigan, and black and white shoes. For jewelry, I wore faux white pearls and black stick earrings to keep with the black and white theme. I wore black eye-shadow and red lipstick for a pop of color. For hair, a pony to see the pretty neckline on the top.

Shiny, happy people.

This top has been sitting at the end of my closet for many weeks, ready to be worn. I tend to have pre-planned outfits kept in this spot for days I cannot spend too much time planning out my clothes. Anyway, I pulled out this high-low, sheer-backed, top, which is accented with gold, silver and bronze shoulder studs. I wore bronze spike earrings and a multi-strand, multi-metal bracelet, and multi-metal stackable ringsto match. For shoes, I opted for black and cream heels with gold studs. For makeup, I wore bronze eye shadow and gold lip gloss. Hair: my second attempt at mocking an 'elevated pony' magazine clipping-- a small pony pulled back into a larger pony.

Men's casual

I saw that (long) vests are a thing right now and realized I haven't worn a vest in a while. So, I pulled out this charcoal grey vest. My thought process was as follows:

"Hmm, that wrap bracelet is grey; that will match, and it has teal in it. So, then, I can add a touch of color with the grey.  I'll wear that teal top, then, and the necklace that kinda goes with the bracelet.

Earrings....hmm, should I wear the ones that came with the necklace or the more formal ones that just happen to match? I'll go with the latter since they'll jazz up the casual look.

Since I have these grey oxfords and will need to wear flats at night, they will look cute with ankle pants.

Hmm, now, what  shoes to wear during the day? Oh- the patent leather pumps will dress up the outfit for work. "

Wicked green

We went to go see Wicked and I had been eagerly waiting to break out this top and ponte pants. And, the green was also appropriate. The necklace was on my Amazon wishlist with this top (also Amazon wishlist) in mind, except I hadn't gotten to wear the necklace until now. To match, I wore gold stick earrings and cream and gold bangles to match the cream beads in the necklace and the gold tones. The pants also had gold zippers. I wore black ankle strap heels and used a green clutch. For makeup, I wore black and gold shadows and gold lip gloss.

Purple Passion

I've been really wanting to wear this (long) colorful necklace, so I planned around it. For some reason, I always like wearing neutral colors with it, so I wore a solid, nude tee and beige blazer. The tee is baggy, but the blazer and (charcoal) pencil skirt trim me back. To pull the beige together with this skirt, I wore nude patent heels. The heels have gold accents that match the gold in my jewelry. For more of a color pop to match the necklace, I wore a purple statement necklace, purple statement earrings, and a purple leather band bracelet, which all have gold tones or accents. Lastly, I added a handmade bauble bracelet in which the jewels match the jewel in my longer necklace. For makeup, I wore gold and purple eye-shadows, purple gel-liner, and gold lip gloss. For hair, I pinned back my bangs and pulled one small section back and twisted into pins, repeated, and then gathered the remaining hair into a low pony, covering the elastic with wrapped hair.

Fall Fashion Fan Fave

It's the first day of fall, so I wore my favorite Autumn outfit (despite my feelings on the season change). Apparently it isn't just my favorite outfit because I got a few good reactions today. :)
I wore an argyle skirt with a brown sweater vest and ruffly button down. For accessories, I wore a beaded strand necklace that matches the colors in the skirt and, then, handmade beaded earrings. I had three other pairs of earrings picked out, but went with these because they match the colors in the necklace and skirt and the argyle diamond shapes. I added a wooden bangle bracelet to go with the necklace and a camel belt to go with my shoes and matching argyle handbag. For makeup, I wore red lipstick, camel and brown eye shadow. For hair, I tried to mock this magazine clipping of a braid worked into a pony.
