All the leaves are turning, but I'm still in Spring

Tsssk tsssk. I wore spring colors on a fall day, but to be fair, I did see three pairs of white sandals in one day (after Labor Day). ;)

I think I just wanted to wear things I never got to this spring or summer due to COVID-19. So, here I am with a blush, belted blouse adorned with lace, embroidered flutter sleeves. Since the sleeves have purple in them, I wore a purple pencil skirt and a purple floral necklace and earring jewelry set. For shoes: blush ruffly flats. Makeup: pink and purple shadows, purple liner and a blush lipstick.

Skirt: Holiday gift
Shoes: Family Dollar, a couple years ago, (wish I bought more pairs), $6-9

Who Wore it Better- Michael Myers

Yesterday, I wore this jumpsuit and, despite the print, all I could picture was Michael Myers (even better when I had a mask on). Well, it's doubtful that MM would be wearing burgundy stilettos and a tassel earrings, so hopefully I win this episode of 'Who Wore it Better?'

I wore black and white chandelier earrings and carried a black and white color-block handbag. For makeup: black shadow and red lipstick for under the mask.

To (tie) dye for

I picked up this pink and yellow tie-dyed, ruffly blouse last month and couldn't wait to wear it. Despite just running errands this day, I finally did, and with ankle jeans and blush ruffly ankle boots.  I brought along with me, this blush ruffly scarf (again) in case it was too chilly. I wish I had gotten a better pic of the top because it's so cute and I never ended up using the scarf that day. I polled my followers on which earrings to wear (pictured below) and the multi-color pink tassle earrings were the winner. I would have gone with the yellow, otherwise, but did end up wearing yellow rose studs anyway. For makeup, I wore pink and yellow shadows with pink lipstick. It was nice to wear regular clothes again!

Top: Macy's Backstage, $12.99

Booties: The Shoe Store, a few years ago, $30

One outfit, two ways

This day was just a casual day around town and a little bit of shopping. Because I didn't know what we were doing when I got dressed, I threw on some pink slide-ons, but when we decided to go out, I changed my shoes to blue faux velvet ankle boots, added a blush ruffly shawl and a blush handbag along with blush bangles. This thermal floral print top is very casual (especially with a bandana around my neck), so I'm not too sure 'dressing it up' actually worked. But, I do love its blue and pink colors so I can mix it up. For makeup: pink and navy shadows, navy liner and a blush lipstick.

Looking for ideas/Wu-Tang is Forever

Wu-Tang colors today (or Bruins...or Crime Scene, or street signs and lines or even the little COVID sign hanging on my office at work)

I recently already posted this dress, but today, I'm wearing it with marigold heels- same makeup, same handbag and likely same earrings. I'm eager to keep wearing this dress through the fall- any ideas how i can wear this during the colder weather? Black tights, yes, leggings, no. But how about on top?

Never Forget- 19 years

9/11 is always a solemn day to face. I can't believe next year marks 20 years and I still remember where I was when everything happened. I always wear patriotic colors on this day, but not for spirit or fun. Instead, I do it as a reminder of the attacks and those who lost their lives including heroes.

Rainbow Brite

Today, I wore a rainbow striped sleeveless blouse that waterfalls in the front with a cobalt blue pencil skirt, adorned with buttons and a slit. (I just love the way this top fits not to mention what colors I Can wear with it.) I wore light pin shoes and, later a headband, along with a fuchsia handbag, beaded rainbow chandelier earrings and a fuchsia panda ring. For makeup: pink and navy shadows, a light pink lipstick and cobalt eyeliner.

I actually spent time on my hair this morning, but it was so humid, as you can see, I ended up throwing it up into a typical messy bun with a headband.

Housewife or Candy-striper?

I purchased this marigold and white striped button-down dress a few weeks ago and have been dying to wear it ever since. It reminds me a lot of a housewife or a candy-striper dress- picture it with high heels or nurse shoes....

When I went shopping recently, I really liked this top - I've always loved camel. With the top in mind, which I walked by, I ended up getting these camel, drawstring, tapered dress pants and went back to get the top later. Here I wore them with a camel headband (shocker) and camel flats. I wore camel and antique gold chandelier earrings and, for makeup, camel and black shadows.

Macaw

This marigold open-front kimono (or beach cover up?) is fun to match with because of its pattern and so many colors. This time, I wore it with a cobalt blue pencil skirt, a cobalt sleeveless top, and matching cobalt tassle earrings, which- I might add- match perfectly with the tassles on the kimono. I added a marigold headband, belt and sandals along with a handbag. For makeup, I wore marigold and navy shadows and a blue eyeliner.
