Does graph paper still exist?

I had a lot of fun with this new puff-sleeve open-front tunic. Because it's black with multi-color lines, there are many possibilities for what color to focus on. Below, I accented the marigold (shocker!) by wearing marigold stilettos and a marigold beret and marigold flats when outdoors. I did sneak in another one of the colors by wearing a teal rose ring and with my burgundy lipstick and teal eyeliner (on top of marigold and black shadows).  I wore black tassel earrings, which makes me surprise myself- I feel like this could have been a better opportunity for more color.

The Smurfs

This outfit has been posted before. But, what is different this time is, I added a navy blue floppy hat to wear outside (not a fan-favorite in the male category- neither my husband nor stepfather like the hat). My husband also doesn't like these high-waist, wide-leg, multi-color plaid pants. but, they are slimming AND so much fun to match with. Here, I wore them with a navy turtleneck and blue faux velvet ankle boots. For makeup: navy and pink shadows and navy liner and a blush lipstick. For jewelery: pink acrylic and a blush flower ring.

Another fall outfit- 9 days behind!

It's funny how quick I went from fall colors straight to Holiday since Thanksgiving was so late this year.

I was still (very happily) wearing marigold a couple weeks back with this puff-sleeve tunic, matching heels, belt and beret. I wore a black multi-color floral (much more summery) scuba skirt and black tights with a black scarf, a black rose bracelet and two sets of black rose earrings to go with the floral pattern. For makeup: marigold and black shadows and a fuscia lipstick.

Blushing

Since December has started and I'm now wearing Holiday colors each day, I am definitely behind in posts! But, here I am a couple weeks ago in blush- and lots of it! I recently picked up this blush ruffle shawl (it was love at first sight), which happens to go well with my blush ruffle booties an blush lacey ruffle moock-neck. With all this pink, I wore a black pencil skirt and tights, blush pearl earrings and black rose earrings to go with the lace pattern and a blush flower ring. For makeup: blush and black shadows and a blush lipstick.

Still a little behind on posts. I'm pretty sure this was Election Day- I don't normally celebrate or coordinate my outfits for this- it just worked out that I was wearing red and blue on this day.

Here, I have on a burgundy, antique lace-trimmed blazer with navy ponte pants and burgundy ankle boots. I wore burgundy tassle earrings and a navy floppy hat for accessories. For makeup: navy and burgundy shadows, navy eyeliner and a burgundy lipgloss.

Sock Hop

I had been wanting a long pleated skirt for a long time since they're in at the moment. So, when I walked by this one in the store, I had to check the price and it was do-able enough for me. Next was decided which color- I really kept going towards the gold. At any rate I (obviously) ended up with maroon and wore it here with a navy ribbon-embellished cardigan, navy tights and navy faux-velvet ankle boots. For accessories, I wore a light blue striped scarf that has some maroon stripes with maroon tassle earrings. For makeup: navy and maroon shadows with naby eyeliner and maroon lipgloss. I put my hair into a high pony, which made me look like I was going to a 50s sock hop.

The pleated skirt with a scarf  and button-down was inspired by a magazine ad I have, but failed to take a picture of.

Skirt: Sears, $24.99
