Deal on shoes anyone?

Did I mention in selling these shoes on eBay? Picked them up last year on clearance, never worn. They're too tight on me.

Pretty in pink

I've just been in the mood for pink lately. I wore this really comfy dolman sleeve shirt with a matching handmade scarf, black dress pants and matching pink shoes. Since it's chilly, I threw in a beige blazer that pulled the outfit together with the scarf. I also wore matching rose earrings and pink and black eye shadows.  (This was the last hurrah for these shoes since I've had them for years and they're pretty beat up. It's sad because they match so well!)

Earrings: eBay, came with 5 other colors, $4-5

Black & White...again

I had another work event to go to yesterday, so wore black and white....again. I recently got this jacket, so was eager to wear it. I matched it with my handy dandy black and white shoes. The jackets helps the shoes pop since the rest of my outfit was black. I opted for (faux) oversized pearl earrings over my black and white chandeliers (talk about overkill) since I've been wanting to wear this necklace.

Jacket: Rosegal, $20
Shoes: Charlotte Rousse, $15-19 (end of season clearance)
Pencil Skirt: KMart, $8 (half off clearance)
Earrings: eBay, these are actually the opposite side of two-ended earrings, $3-4
Necklace: Gift a few years ago for Christmas (came with cute dangly earrings)

Rosie

Shoes I haven't worn yet! I planned around the shoes and wore a black dolman shirt with a taupe tank, a belt with a rose clip and rose earrings to go with the lace on the shoes. I was originally tossed up on wearing khakis, but they were too casual for the shoes, which are on the dressier side.

Shoes: Alloy, clearance, $7.50!!!!
Belt: came with a skirt
Rose: 3-in-1 clip, pin and hair tie, $5
Earrings: E-bay, purchased with 5 other colors, about $4
Dolman shirt: gift a few years ago for Christmas

Shiny

This duster speaks for itself. It looks really cute with leggings, but I wore it to work today, so wore dress pants instead. I wore patent shoes and a matching belt and decided to wear this new bib necklace. To match the beading on the necklace, I wore flower shaped bead earrings.
Duster: $9, Kmart!!!!
Belt: came with a skirt
Necklace: Rosegal, $8
Earrings (that make me look like my name is Ethel): given to me by my mother
Heels: Alloy, $20

On a whim

I had to get dressed fast yesterday so we could run out for some quick errands. Thankfully, I was able to throw this comfy and cute outfit together on a whim. I wore leggings with a long tank (for some coverage) and shirt I picked up years ago on clearance. It was cool out yesterday, so I grabbed a blue blazer and wore brown knee socks with boots and a scarf. Since I didn't have time to touch up my hair and realized it was looking mediocre, I remembered I had a hat that happened to match this shirt nicely. I very rarely wear this boots without this matching purse. I also always wear antique-gold earrings (not shown) to match the hardware on my boots. This comes from my (obvious) need to match things. It would bother me to have on earrings or accessories that do not match hardware, such as a belt.

Shirt: Target, years ago, clearance, $5
Tank: Rainbow, years ago, $3
Blazer: Given to me from Aunt
Leggings: Given to me from Aunt
Boots: Amazon, a couple years ago, $30, my favs
Socks: from Santa in my stocking a couple years ago :)
Hat: Dots, a couple years ago, $7-9
Scarf: Rainbow, purchased years ago, a fav of mine

Peachy keen

This is the third day in a row I've worn peach. I was really excited to wear this shirt- there are so many things I can do with it and mixing other colors with it is one of them. Because I haven't worn this necklace in a while, I decided to go with blue accents. I have three pairs of earrings that would match this shirt really well, but opted for large crystal studs to go with the crystals on the necklace. I matched a blue beaded bracelet with the necklace- had I worn only one blue item, it would have looked random. I wore the same makeup as yesterday-- peach and blue shadows and peach lip gloss.
To keep this shirt from looking like I was going clubbing, I wore dress pants instead of my typical pencil skirt. I kept the outfit dressy with patent leather heels.

Shirt: $17, Rosegal
Necklace: Christmas gift one year, Vera Wang for Kohl's
Bracelet: given to me from Aunt
Earrings: purchased with a set of three pairs, $3-5, Rue 21, clearance
Heels: $20, clearance, Alloy, a couple years ago.

Candy striper

... Not really. But I'm out and about today and have been wanting to wear this blazer, inspired by the picture far below, even though I didn't wear heels. Instead, I wore oxfords, but still kept the look feminine with antique rose earrings and a matching scarf. The gold on the scarf goes with the gold tones on the earrings and the scarf isn't too matchy matchy since it has a print (I intentionally clashed with the stripes). I wore a blue headband to match the stripes on the jacket. Lastly, I wore peach and navy blue eye shadows with outreach lip gloss.
Blazer: hand me down from Aunt
Earrings (came with two other pairs): Rue 21, clearance, $3
Headband: 3-pk, pharmacy
Peach eye shadow and lip gloss: Ulta, both free with minimum purchase
Blue eye shadow: Avon, have had for years

Retro-casz

I was out and about today and it was rainy, so I wore this Marilyn sweatshirt with matching earrings, gold flats, a gold handbag and a gold headband. I wore my eyeliner and hair retro to go with the Marilyn era.

Sweatshirt (all lace in the back): $5, Rue 21, clearance
Flats: have had for years, Target
Handbag: birthday gift years ago, from Target
Earrings (came with two other pairs of earrings): $3, Rue 21, clearance
Headband: 3-pk, pharmacy

Layers

We went to Salem yesterday, so I had to be sure to wear black and be prepared to walk around.  But, it's also warm during the day and cooler at night, so I was sure to wear a tee and bring along a crocheted-back charcoal colored long sleeved shirt and wore a shawl. I matched black skinny pants and charcoal flats to go with my shawl, and finished off the look for fall with my rimmed hat. I wore dangly earrings to complement the hat and my long hair and to refrain from looking like a pilgrim.

Shawl: have had about 12 years, target
Flats: Rue 21, $7(?), a couple years ago
Pants: TJ Maxx, $12.99
Long sleeved crocheted back shirt: $9.99 in Maine last year
Hat: Kohl's, $7, clearance

Country bumpkin

Dressed for a day of craft fairs and antiquing. I've been eager to wear this outfit for a while, even though I look a little like Neil Young. :)
I wore a crocheted vest with a black rim hat, jeans and boots. I matched this old belt from when my mother was younger with the boots and wore earrings to match the hardware on both. I finished off this look with pig tails. I'm ready for a fall day out in the country.
Vest: Kohl's, $14, clearance
Hat: Kohl's, $7, clearance
Belt: my mother's from the 70s/80s
Hoops: have had for some years now
Boots: Amazon, $20-30, two years ago (this is my third pair, my favorites)
