This outfit was inspired by a pair of purple drape pants that were overdue to be worn, and a striped belt from the 80s/90s. The belt has marigold, purple, aqua and pink stripes, so I used it as a way to pull together these complementary colors, purple and yellow (marigold). With the pants and belt, I wore the following in margold: turtleneck, ankle boots, beret and handbag. For jewelry, I wore a purple and gold statement necklace along with statement earrings that, believe it or not, are not a set (see details below) along with a purple and gold cocktail ring. For makeup: marigold and purple eyeshadows and a gold lipgloss.
