Wednesday/Sophomore year

Our niece had a Wednesday (Addams) themed birthday party this spring. 🖤🖤 I'm not sure if it's a thing that I can pull together a Wednesday-like outfit from my closet without blinking an eye. I wore this cold shoulder, short black babydoll dress with Docs and braids in my hair. Black rose earrings and black shadow to go with the theme.....essentially what I looked like in 10th grade.

Improvise

I'll admit, I had gotten a pair of matching aqua blue pants to go with this [printed orange mock-neck] blouse, buuuuttt, they're a little tight at the moment. So, here I wore the top with just black high waist pants and orange ankle boots. For jewelry: a teal metal and gem cuff and cocktail ring and aqua blue dangly earrings in which the shape pretty much matches the print on the shirt. I added a teal, velvet headband for a short while. For makeup: burnt orange and teal shadows and burnt orange lipstick.

Dresses with sneakers

I know that dresses and sneakers is so five years ago, but I'm loving it lately- it feels...FUN! Here are two outfits: a black and white striped button down shirt dress with classic black and white Adidas (love, love, love these sneaks); and a sheer light blue button down shirt dress with pink Tom's slide-ons. I definitely plan on more soon, especially this summer. 

Do they still make Max Factor makeup and whatever happened to Carmen Electra??

This very 70s printed vest is fun to match with with all of it's colors. This time- and usually when I wear it- I wore it with a sheer peach cami and a lime green tank with black ponte pants and blush flats. For jewelry: peach rose earrings and a peach rose bracelet along with a floral charm necklace that have, both, hints of peach and lime green. And, the flowers all go well with the print on the shirt. For makeup:  peach and lime shadows with peach lip gloss.

Fairy Godmother

This is another dress I got through Shein-- an elegant, calf-length, long-sleeve, lilac sateen dress that gathers at the waist, neck and shoulders. To match, I had also gotten butterfly wing earrings, so I also added this Betsey Johnson butterfly statement necklace and then a purple gem ring. It was still a bit chilly, so it was ankle boots for me and, since there is pink in the necklace, I went with blush. I kept with that color scheme by using a blush handbag and head wrap, which I rolled my hair into for an even more elegant look. For makeup: blush and purple shadows, purple liner and blush lipstick.
