"Like a Boss"

We had a couple of really warm days this spring and then back to chilly rain and 50s. I took this as an opportunity to wear an outfit I arranged a couple months ago when I wasn't back in heels yet. 

Here I wore high-waist, front-tie pleather pants with a fuchsia, tie-back, puff-shoulder blouse and a fuchsia, beige and black geometrically patterned scarf with beige and black color-block stiletto ankle boots. For jewelry: a bright pink panda ring and fuchsia shiny dangle earrings. Makeup: black and beige shadows and fuchsia lipstick. 

Denim Day 2023

Denim Day is a campaign on a Wednesday in April in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. It is about spreading awareness around sexual violence issues, supporting survivors, and educating ourselves and others. As the longest running sexual violence prevention and education campaign in history, Denim Day asks community members, elected officials, businesses, and students to make a social statement with their fashion statement by wearing jeans on this day as a visible means of protest against the misconceptions that surround sexual violence.

Boston Strong... twice 💛💙💪🏾

The story here is that I wore blue and yellow on Marathon Monday.... Except is wasn't the right Monday- the Marathon was the following Monday. So, here is the REAL marathon day outfit- a marigold waterfall cardigan over a cobalt shell with cobalt dress joggers, marigold chunky heels and a marigold head wrap and blue rose studs and tassel earrings. For makeup: marigold and blue shadows with blue liner and a neutral lip color.

Go Bruins!

We were out with our nephew on this day, just eating lunch and perusing around an antique store. After having a recent foot surgery, I was limited to open-top flats. On this day, I selected marigold and added a ruffly matching sweatshirt, tassle-hoop earrings and a braided head wrap. I decided to add in some blue which was likely inspired by this Ivory Ella fleece varsity jacket (blue, yellow and fuchsia stripes). For blue, I wore a bandana around my neck and a small navy cross body. For pants, I wore these paper bag boyfriend jeans. Makeup: marigold and blue shadows, blue eyeliner and fuchsia lipstick.
